The Chilterns Conservation Board new draft AONB Management Plan is open for public consultation and we would welcome thoughts on how the AONB should best be cared for and looked after.
The new Plan covers a range of issues from biodiversity and wildlife conservation to looking after the special character of the Chilterns villages, managing access and recreation and helping local businesses to thrive.
Public concerns may include climate change or the loss of hedgerow trees, the impact of housing and infrastructure development or the loss of wildlife due to poor condition of chalk streams.
The Chilterns Conservation Board invite you to have your say.

The Chilterns Conservation Board said “We’d particularly like to hear peoples thoughts on the Vision and General Policies set out on pages 15-18 of the Plan. Any feedback people are able to provide would be welcomed.”
The public consultation ends on 31st December.
