Starting at 7pm, on Saturday 30 March at the Henley Bowling Club, teams of up to six members can exercise their brains at the quiz whilst they help to support two charities that help people with financial guidance and assistance.
Organising the event is Cllr Lorraine Hillier, Chairman of South Oxfordshire District Council, who is raising funds for her chosen charities – the Smallwood Trust, who help women in poverty and Oxfordshire South and Vale Citizens Advice.
Cllr Hillier, who has already held several charity events during her time as Chairman including a concert and race night, said, “Quiz evenings are a great fun and an ideal opportunity to spend time with friends and family. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the night whilst helping to raise money for two charities that help others experiencing financial difficulties.”
People can register a of up to six people, and individuals and smaller groups are welcome too. Places cost £10 per person (includes fish and chip supper) by contacting email@example.com or calling 01235 422082 by 22 March.
