Henley-Harpsden Joint Neighbourhood Plan

Vote in the Henley and Harpsden Referendum

On Thursday 10 March residents in Henley and Harpsden can vote in a referendum on whether their community should formally adopt the proposed Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan.

To vote you must be registered to vote in local elections by Tuesday 23 February, and live in the designated area.  To register please visit the register to vote website.

Voting takes place at a number of polling stations between 7am and 10pm – full details will be included on poll cards which will be sent to everyone who has registered.  The votes will be counted and result declared shortly after polls close on 10 March.

What happens next?

If residents vote to adopt the Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan it will then then go to South Oxfordshire District Council to be made. At this point it will become a formally recognised part of the development plan and will be used to help determine planning issues.
