RENEWABLE ENERGY WORKSHOP – WEDNESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2018, 1PM – 4.30PM

SODC have invited neighbourhood planning groups to attend a Renewable Energy Workshop, which is being run in association with the Centre for Sustainable Energy[1] (CSE).  The workshop is a fantastic opportunity to discover how neighbourhood plans can address mitigation and adaption for climate change.  It will focus on:

* Identifying potential renewable energy resources in the neighbourhood

* Expressing support for specific forms of renewable energy

* Identifying suitable sites

* Promoting a more sustainable future​

The workshop is being held on WEDNESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2018 BETWEEN 1PM AND 4.30PM in the council offices at 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park OX14 4SB.

SODC say “If your town or parish is preparing a neighbourhood plan, please encourage your neighbourhood planning group to attend. If the group cannot attend, or you are not preparing a neighbourhood plan but would still like to attend, please feel free to register up to two representatives.
