Under the ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Section 14(1)
Henley-on-Thames-Peppard Lane Bridleway will be temporarily closed.
Closure Date of Order: 30 September 2019
Coming into force: 7 October 2019
This Order is being introduced because of bridleway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed on 16 November 2019
The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Peppard Lane bridleway ,South West of Henley.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
The alternative route for those affected by the closure is via Makins Road-Blandy Road and vice versa
