ANNUNAL GENERAL MEETING

to be held at Harpsden Village Hall

at 7.45pm on Monday 22nd May 2023

 

AGENDA

  1. To elect the Chairman of Council and to receive his/her Declaration of Acceptance of Office
  2. To elect the Deputy Chairman and to receive his/her Declaration of Acceptance of Office
  3. Apologies for absence
  4. To receive Declarations of pecuniary interests and/or requests for dispensations from Members regarding any item on this agenda
  5. To approve the Minutes of last Council Meeting (Monday 20th March 2023)
  6. To receive the Oxfordshire County Councillor’s Report
  7. To receive the South Oxfordshire District Councillor’s Report
  8. To consider the Completion and Approval of Annual Governance Statement 2021/2022
  9. To consider the Completion and approval of Accounting Statements 2021/2022
  10. Planning Matters: The latest Planning Report is available on the website and will be considered in the following format.

10.1         To review SODC Planning Decisions since the previous meeting.

10.2         To consider for comment all new Planning Applications

10.3         To briefly note all Outstanding Planning Applications and Appeals

  1. Financial Matters: All financial documents have been circulated by the Clerk prior to the meeting and are available on the Council website.

11.1        To consider and approve the Financial Report containing all Bank balances and    Reconciliations.

11.2         To approve the Schedule of Payments.

11.3         To review actual spend vs budget.

11.4         To review CIL reconciliation.

11.5         To consider a financial contribution to Joint Parish AONB Group.

  1. Parish Matters:

12.1        To discuss the possible purchase of ‘Gates’ for the entrance to the Village.

Open Forum:  Electors are welcome at the Meeting and can raise any matters of concern during a period of some 15 minutes.
